One Track Mind / Ventura

The scene at the Ventura premiere of One Track Mind. It was awesome! We had everyone there; deryls, ranchers, familes with groms and surfers all in the same place and everyone had a great time. We will definitely be doing this again!

On Saturday, October 11, 2009, after the Sacred Craft Surfboard Expo, surfboard shaper Tom Wegener gave an evening presentation at Patagonia's Cardiff Surf Shop. Tom spoke about shaping surfboards from Paulownia wood, specifically classic single fin longboards, hollow surfboards and the traditional Hawaiian alaia design which Tom and his friends help reintroduce to the surfing world. In conjunction with the ongoing "OCEAN VISION ~ Nine Local Artists Celebrate the Sea" SB Surfrider benefit art show, 1977 World Champion surfer Shaun Tomson and celebrated surf photographer Dan Merkel will sign copies of “Bustin' Down the Door: The Surf Revolution of '75,” a beautiful coffee table book of their recent documentary film,
It all takes place at the upstairs gallery of 33 Jewels at El Paseo, 814 State Street, in downtown Santa Barbara.
